Memorial Day

1. Memorial Day is a federal holiday to remember the people who died while in armed forces.
2. Always the last Monday in May.
3. Decorating the graves of soldier with flowers. There is also man ceremonies.

  
5. Memorial Day is also a day when the holiday is a day off work and school.
6. I will visit my aunt who is a part of the U.S army.
7. I think memorial day is important for the people who lost their loved one during war.

1. Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict. 2. Telling everyone the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished. 3. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened. 4. You usually get into less trouble fro telling the truth other than lying (and getting caught). 5. Other people trust you more when you tell the truth. 6. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight. 7. You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value. 8. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful.

Number one is that you shouldn't lie because people will start problems and if you say the truth everyone will understand what truly happened. Number two means that you shouldn't lie and blame some one who is innocent, so you  have to take full responsibility. The third and forth one means that by not lying shows others lessons in life and you will get in less trouble for being honest. By being a honest person, people will know to trust you and take your word when you promise it. The sixth one is that its easier to tell the truth instead of saying a lot of lies to keep your story straight.

This quote means that if you pursue your goals in the best way then they will come true. But that will only happen when your goals are correct and if you are really trying. This is because you need to create yourself and pursue yourself to accomplish anything. Also by doing the right things for your goals, everything else in your life will add up. He's also saying that by doing right things in the best way possible, you will get places.

The word values means having respect and being kind to others. So what this means is that being kind to others is a good way of showing the type of person you are. I honestly agree yet disagree with this because yes you need to be kind to others no matter what. In the other hand, the most important thing to me is family and being successful. Either way, I agree and disagree with this quote. To this, I believe that having and showing respect, is important.

Reflection: I would like to do this because I really like animals and I would like to find out new things about them.

This quote means that when you do something right you get rewarded by feeling good. By feeling good I mean that you are proud of yourself for doing good deeds for others. But you are mostly doing it for  yourself because you are the one who gains respect and dignity. People will know you as the good person you are when you do good things. Sometimes it is not about receiving an award, it about doing things to make yourself feel good. It’s about showing the world your kindness and respect.

Philip Riggs' Four Success Tips

1. Work hard. 2. Follow your passions. Do things you are interested in doing. 3. Don't chase after money. 4. Serve others. Do good things for others, and good things will come to you.

I agree with his methods of thinking and being successful. This is because if you work hard for what you really want in life, sooner or later they will come to you. And following your passions is a big part of being successful. This is because if you do something you don't and won't be happy with why do it? So do something you are most passionate about. Do all these things for you and your happiness don't just think about money and how rich but unhappy you will be. Also if you are a good person to others then good things will come your way.

1. The world records is the best global performance ever recorded in a skill or sport.
2. The world record holder is Stig Severinsen.
3. It was set in a submerged pool in London.
5. My favorite world record is the swimmer who swam 200 meters underwater.
6. I like this record because it involves water, and I like the ocean so much.
7. I think if I were to hold a world record it would be like the one above, because I would want to know how it looks like that far in the ocean.

What this means is that no matter how persuasive bad things can be you should always say no. Only if the choice you are about to make is wrong. Chose the right and make right decisions. Because the young Indian saved the snake, he knew it was a bad thing. He knew the snake would bite, but he did it anyway and received the worst thing in scenario.

This quote means that you have to make right choices in life no matter what the situation. This is because if you do what feels right, you will feel okay about it. If you make a bad decision when you're in any  type of situation, you will feel dirty and feel something bad inside of you. So doing what is and feels right is the best way to solve your problems. Anything you do look at it in a positive way and be positive about everything, because then you will just surround yourself with negativity. This quote means that if you do bad things, you will not gain anything. But if you do good, you will gain trust of others and you will feel good. In this case doing whats wrong will make you feel bad and will get yo more into trouble. So what he is saying is that all you have to do is be kind and a good person. I believe what goes around comes around, and that is why you should always be a good person. Do what is right not what is easy. If its hard, you must be doing the right thing.
