A goalposts in football is where the football players make their touch downs. So what this quote is meaning to say is that if you do not have your goals set up, you will not know what to do with your life. This is because you need to know what you want to do in order to go on with your life. That is why you should start thinking about what you want to do in the future. Instead of wasting your life still trying to decide what you want to do. I myself have my whole life set up because I want to be a successful person in life.

This quote means that what "cool" people think is "cool" is not always a right thing to do. And even when people do right things that other people might not find cool to do is not a bad thing. So it does not matter if you are doing something good and if you are alone at it because you are doing something you like. Also not because "cool" people are drinking and smoking does not make is good to do. So you should follow your own path because it all depends on you.

Dr. Ben Carson tells us that his family was financially struggling. His mother cleaned houses for living, she noticed other families and their children reading. Ben did not like to read, but he began to learn many things. It was little after that he knew he could help himself out of poverty by working harder. He began to read more and apply sense to the world around him. After, he graduated high school and became a surgeon who separated conjoined twins. If someone is in this same situation, they should be inspired to work harder so that in the future they do not face economic struggles. In the future, success will bring you happiness to know that you studied so hard most of your life, and you reached your goals. When you focus on school, education offers many opportunities for us to follow the path of success. Just like Dr. Ben Carson was successful by doing good in school, I plan to follow his footsteps by doing my best in school.

Presidents Day

Presidents Day is usually celebrated for George Washington's birthday. Which is the third Monday on February. George Washington's actual birthday is on February 22. Presidents Day was officially established in the year 1885. On this day many people as in workers, students, and others take the day off, only most. A way to show honor and respect is by schools organizing events and lessons. Also many stores have sales in their stores on this popular day. Also many bands preform in a parade, and people dress like the presidents. On this parade the current president of the United States walks with this parade. Also Presidents Day honors the life and work of the first president of the United States.

This quote is trying to say that if you feel like everyone will make fun of you if you do something right should not feel wrong. And if you do something wrong that feels right it will always be wrong. So you should listen to yourself and do what feels and sounds right. By doing this maybe people will want to be choosing the right like you do. And choosing the wrong will lead to bad consequences in your life. Also by choosing the wrong and making bad decisions people will not rely on you. So a way to help you get the attitude to ctr, is by having positive thoughts and feelings. Being positive is the key to everything good in life. I chose this picture below because is shows Homer desiding what his consious tells him. Either if its good and feels good, or bad and feels bad.

What this quote is trying to explain is that if you are always up and exited for each and everyday you have great things coming to you in life. For example if you are always so negative about the little things, you waste your time like that. But on the other hand if you are positive and enthusiastic you won't need to worry about the little details. By being positive all the time the people around you will feel comfortable around you and will probably start feeling the same. You see if you worry too much about the other peoples opinion, you will not learn to be happy. And if you just do what you like and what you desire, you will live a happy life. That is a sign of being kind to others. One example of being so positive is Tigger and Eeyore. This is because Tigger is always positive and happy, trying to make Eeyore happy as well, even though Eeyore is a grumpy person. I guess I would consider myself as Tigger.
