In my opinion, I think the quote means that when you follow directions as in good ones that help you out and you accually do them, then the universe will repay you with great things in life. In others words, when you follow the good advises or others, you may get plenty good results from doing the right thing.



To this, when "choosing the right", as in follow the right path, it leads you to great things and success in life. As the wrod obedience referes to listen, obey, and follow to all the great things that may occur durring your life or in your future.
