I think that this quote means that obedience is not a hard thing to do. The quote says, "stumling block" what this means is something hard or causes hesitation. In other refrerences, "building blocks" stands for being strong and being able to be obedient. Also the quote states, "no longer an irritaton" as in no longer a struggle to make this possible. So this quote is saying that being obedient should not be something hard to do when it becomes a goal of ours. Many people make obedience a priority in their lives, while others can't. Netherless the part, "when obedience becomes our goal," states that you should try to, or always be obedient. That obedience shall always be a goal for everyone. The picture on the bottom represents this quote in a way. It represents it because some people think that they can not be obedient because others say they can't, but they really are.
