Presidents Day

Presidents Day is usually celebrated for George Washington's birthday. Which is the third Monday on February. George Washington's actual birthday is on February 22. Presidents Day was officially established in the year 1885. On this day many people as in workers, students, and others take the day off, only most. A way to show honor and respect is by schools organizing events and lessons. Also many stores have sales in their stores on this popular day. Also many bands preform in a parade, and people dress like the presidents. On this parade the current president of the United States walks with this parade. Also Presidents Day honors the life and work of the first president of the United States.
